Nursery Servant Meeting
There will be a meeting this Wednesday night May 9th at 6:15pm in the nursery for all nursery servants and anyone who wishes to be a volunteer or sub for nursery. WE CAN ALWAYS USE MORE SERVANTS! I would also encourage parents of children in nursery to be present. This meeting is very IMPORTANT. We will be discussing my maternity leave, fundamentals of the nursery, and the nursery schedule. Each servant will also be completing the background screening application at this time. The meeting will exactly 15 minutes please do not be late. I will have a timer to ensure we are out on time. Every nursery servant on the schedule through June needs to be present. If you can not be present for the meeting please call me Tuesday (903) 539-8650. Thank you all for the hard work that you put into the nursery. As a parent of a child in nursery myself I can’t say thank you enough for serving in nursery.

The date is set for our Annual Ladies Retreat. October 5th-6th. The cost is $41.00, which includes dinner Friday night and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. If you would like to sign up please see Sara Braswell. We have a limited amount of spaces, so PLEASE sign up fast so that you can be sure to grab your spot!
GOING AWAY/BIRTHDAY PARTY
Today we will be saying Happy Birthday and a sad goodbye to our sweet Riena. We will be holding a party at the Sonic on old Jacksonville at 1:00. Instead of gifts being received, cash can be given that will be used to help purchase a college bond for her future.

Baptism – Reminder
Don’t forget the baptism we are having today the 21st of April and picnic at Doug and Barbara Carter’s home. Please bring food to share for the picnic, and come and enjoy this time of fellowship.

Our Baptism will be on the 21st at noon and the location will be at Doug & Barbara Carter’s home. There are flyers at the church with directions there if you did not already get one Sunday you can get one Wednesday.
Youth Lock In – Reminder
Parents, don’t forget to bring your youth to the lock-in this Friday at 7:00pm. It will start in the education building. Please pick up your youth by 8:00am as the Road Adventure will need the facility.
